The only one ever offered for sale in the United States, the B7 is a more powerful version of flagship 7 Series. It is produced in the same factory as the 7-Series but doesn’t feature the high-revving characteristics typical of an M model. The BMW Alpina B7 for sale is capable of producing 500 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque from its 4.4-liter V8 bi-turbo engine. It was unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August of 2012 and was available for purchase almost immediately after the event.
Powering this supercar-like sedan is a 4.4-liter V8 that utilizes the Bi-Turbo technology. Its power is rated at a remarkable 608 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. This power flowing through an eight-speed-sport automatic transmission gives the new B7 for sale the ability to run 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 205 mph, even with a dry weight of 4,541 lbs.
Being a luxury sedan of its magnitude, the new B7 glides across the pavement as a result of the inclusion of Dynamic Damper Control (DDC) and Active Comfort Drive with Road Preview. With DDC, the car’s suspension can be adjusted up or down for a total adjustable range of 40 mm, giving the driver the ability to ride smooth on any road.
Separating the new B7 from the rest of the crowd is the fresh interior and exterior. On the outside are new body components in the form of aero enhancements that give the B7 a new face and rear. More notable are the 20-inch CLASSIC alloy wheels, centered on 20-spoke architecture. Need bigger wheels? They also offer a 21-inch version as an option. Inside the cabin is a refined interior lay with Nappa leather and highlighted by the digital instrument panel and media display.
