It features accelerometers on the top and pressure sensors on the bottom of the dampers to inform the car’s onboard computer of real-time driving conditions that help to adjust for optimum suspension settings. The only distinction from the 720S frame is that the Spider lost the spine running from rear to front and instead utilizes the Monocage II-S.

The 720S Spider uses a new retractable mechanism to raise or lower its standard all-carbon-fiber roof in 11 seconds while driving below 31mph. When the roof is up, it leaves a two-square-foot rear storage space for luggage.
