We offer for sale this beautiful Mercedes-Benz 220 SEB Heckflosse from 1964. This Heckflosse was delivered new in the Netherlands in 1964 and comes from the second owner. He has owned the classic for no less than 38 years and has always maintained it with a lot of love. The original booklets are present and there are also invoices for the maintenance carried out. It is powered by a 2.2 Ltr, 6-cylinder engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. The Mercedes-Benz is also equipped with power steering and power brakes that provide a wonderful driving experience.

The Mercedes-Benz 220 SEB Heckflosse that we offer for sale here is really great to see. It was repainted in 2015 and provided with a beautiful white paint. The paint fits perfectly with a classic from the 1950s and combines very nicely with the chrome and white walls. This 1951 Mercedes-Benz 220 is one of 1,278 Cabriolet A models bodied by Sindelfingen between 1951 and 1955 and was acquired around a year ago by the selling dealer. Finished in dark brown with a tan soft top over a tan interior, the car is powered by a 2.2-liter inline-six paired with a column-shifted four-speed manual transmission. Additional features include a Telefunken push-button radio, dual front driving lamps, and body-color steel wheels with whitewall tires. The Cabriolet A model features rear-hinged doors and a longer rear deck compared to the contemporary four-seat Cabriolet B. This example is said to have been previously repainted its current shade of dark brown, and exterior features include a tan soft top with folding landau bars, dual front driving lamps, and a drivers side-view mirror. Various dents, rock chips, and areas of chrome pitting are pointed out in the gallery below.The cabin features seats trimmed in tan leather with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets protected by a black rubber covering. Amenities include a Telefunken push-button radio, a locking glovebox, and map pockets in both doors. Areas of fading, scratches, and stains are visible throughout the cabin, and the woodgrain trim shows cracking of the veneer and evidence of previous repairs.The 2.2-liter inline-six features a single Solex carburetor and sends power to the rear wheels through a column-shifted four-speed manual transmission.
